Tamworth Homeless Connect

The Tamworth Homeless Connect Day is a not-for profit event dedicated to providing much needed services including accommodation and housing, health, education & life skills, support for families, employment, support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and other members of the community in need of assistance.

The services will be delivered in an environment that maintains dignity, connects people to the services they most desperately need, and encourages a sense of being a valued member of the community.The Tamworth Homeless Connect day is modelled on a number of Homeless Connect or Community Connect days that are run across the country each year assisting thousands of people.

The Tamworth Homeless Connect Day provides an opportunity for people in need, service providers and the community to work together to create solutions to homelessness and for providers of services to network, learn collaboratively from one another and share best practice experiences.

Support and connections offered may include housing, medical & dental issues, employment, legal issues, recreation opportunities, identification issues, electoral enrolment and various other support services.
