Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Sora Community Services is committed to reconciliation. A reconciled Australia will be a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander values of family and community, and connections to community and Country are valued. All Australians will hold a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and they will respect and value diversity.
Service providers will be fair and equitable, confident, and capable of providing a culturally safe and welcoming service for all community members.
Sora will work collaboratively and seek guidance from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and lead reconciliation by challenging other organisations to implement Reconciliation Action Plans.

In June 2014 we introduced our first RAP at Sora Community Services.

2026-2028 - Stretch RAP
In June 2026, Reconciliation Australia approved our new Stretch RAP. This is a significant moment in our RAP journey and our organisation as a whole.
