Yesterday, (Monday 12 October 2026) we welcomed Shannon Thorne from Many Tribes One Mob to deliver cultural awareness training to 40 of our staff.
The day was truthful, impactful and meaningful. All made possible by Shannon’s knowledge, experiences, and his ability to connect. Our staff were highly engaged, contributing, asking questions and being open and vulnerable with one another.
The care and respect made room for deep and important conversations.
Cultural training is an important part of our work and commitment to deliver culturally safe support to our community.
