For the second year running Sora Community Services will be the beneficiary of Toyota Australia’s iconic Stetson-style hats and limited edition pins for the Toyota 54th Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Sora Community Services is a for-purpose organisation providing essential services in homelessness, domestic and family violence, and family support in Tamworth and across New England, North-West NSW. The Sora Community Services team are passionate about working collaboratively with a diverse range of organisations to deliver the best outcomes for its communities.
CEO, Sora Community Services, Belinda Kotris said that the continued partnership will assist Sora Community Services more effectively to support those in need during 2026.
“We’re incredibly grateful to be partnering with Toyota Australia again as its charity partner for the iconic hat and pins sales during the 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival. Last year, the proceeds raised by festivalgoers’ purchases allowed us to have a greater impact within our community.
“The funds raised allowed us to act quickly when supporting someone escape domestic violence or to keep those in need in housing, preventing them from becoming homeless. We’ve also provided ongoing support where needed to give families and individuals the best platform to get back on their feet.”
“As the beneficiary of Toyota’s hat & pin sales again in 2026, we will be able provide additional support that helps keep people safe and help them to thrive,” Belinda said.
In partnership with Toyota Australia, Festival goers will be able to support Sora when they purchase the popular souvenir hats and pins from the Toyota Zone located on Fitzroy Street in Tamworth during the festival.
Vin Naidoo, Chief Marketing Officer at Toyota Australia, said that continuing the partnership with Sora Community Services at the Tamworth Country Music Festival is an opportunity to contribute to and support local communities.
“The work Sora Community Services does is essential in providing care and assistance to those facing hardship, and we’re proud to help raise funds that directly benefit people in need across the region.”
“We invite all festivalgoers to visit the Toyota Zone during the ten-day celebration, pick up a hat or pin, and show their support for this incredible organisation.”
In 2025 Toyota helped to raise over $54K for Sora Community Services.
The Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival is unique in that it is truly community owned and non-gated.
All funds raised from the sale of hats, available for $3, and limited-edition pins for $5 will go directly to Sora Community Services. They will be available from the Toyota Zone when it all kicks off on January 16, 2025 and throughout the 10-day event.
