Fundraising was once again strong at the 2026 Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival, with hat and pin sales helping to generate $55,000 to help fund vital services across the region.

Toyota Australia’s iconic Stetson-style hats and limited-edition pins were available for purchase throughout the festival at the Toyota Zone, priced at $3 and $5 respectively, with all proceeds going directly to Sora Community Services.

Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer Vin Naidoo said the continued generosity of the Tamworth Festival community is making a meaningful difference.

“Sora Community Services delivers essential support to individuals and families facing significant challenges across the New England North West region,” Mr Naidoo said.

“Thanks to the incredible support of festivalgoers, these funds will help sustain vital programs providing preventative and crisis support to the local community.”

Toyota has been deeply embedded within Australian country music for more than thirty years as the presenting partner of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

This partnership is about more than sponsorship, it’s about community connection and support, which is evident in its fundraising for Sora Community Services.

Belinda Kotris, Sora Community Services CEO, also expressed her gratitude for the funds raised.

“These funds will support the launch of a new drop-in service at our Tamworth office, providing people doing it tough with access to facilities such as a shower, washing machine and a hot drink.

“This fundraising makes a real difference in our community, and we thank all the festivalgoers who made this possible by purchasing a hat or pin during the festival.”

Sora Community Services is a for purpose organisation delivering essential support services across homelessness, youth, community and domestic and family violence throughout Tamworth and the New England North West region of New South Wales. The organisation works collaboratively with a broad network of partners to achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes for local individuals and families.
