Sora Community Services (formerly TFSS) will be the beneficiary of Toyota Australia’s iconic Stetson-style hats and limited-edition pins for the Toyota 53rd Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Sora Community Services is a for purpose organisation providing essential services for homelessness, youth, community and domestic violence in Tamworth and across New England North West NSW. We are passionate working collaboratively with a diverse range of organisations to deliver the best outcomes for our communities.
CEO Belinda Kotris says Sora Community Services is extremely grateful to be partnering with Toyota and providing the region with much needed support for those in need.
“The Tamworth Country Music Festival is a vital event for Tamworth and the region as a whole. It makes up part of the identity of the region, provides great entertainment and an economic injection into the community. It is particularly exciting to be involved with the iconic hat promotion, it is a symbolic part of the Festival each year.
“As the beneficiary of Toyota’s iconic promotion, we will provide additional support to those experiencing homelessness and those at risk of homelessness. On any given night in Tamworth there is more than 200 people in crisis accommodation or in one of our refuges,” Belinda said.
In partnership with Toyota Australia, Festival goers will be able to support Sora when they purchase the popular Festival souvenir hats and pins.
Vin Naidoo, Chief Marketing Officer of Toyota Australia, said that Toyota has immense pride in partnering with Sora Community Services for the 2025 Toyota Country Music Festival.
“The support Sora Community Services provides is crucial to improving the lives of the local community, and so it’s fantastic to be supporting this vital organisation and help raise funds to ensure the area continues to receive additional support for those that need it the most.”
“We encourage all festival-goers to visit the Toyota Fan Zone during the ten-day event to show their support for Sora Community Services and help those that are vulnerable within the local community.”
“Patrons that purchase a Toyota festival hat during the festival will notice a new coloured hat band, which is inspired by the all-new Toyota LandCruiser Prado range that launched in November 2024.”
“Festival goers can also collect a variety of festival hat pins that include designs of a Vintage LandCruiser, Licence Plate, Belt Buckle, Golden Guitar, Cow-boy as well as an addition of The Wiggles Big Red Ute pin.” Mr Naidoo said.
The Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival is unique in that it is truly community owned and non-gated.
All funds raised from the sale of hats, available for $3, and limited-edition pins for $5 will go directly to Sora Community Services. They will be available from Toyota Zone when it all kicks off on January 17, 2025 and throughout the 10-day event.
